ROYAL MERMAID ran a decent race at this venue second time out. Her last run on the poly is best ignored as she was found to be striding short. GLORIOUS BUTTERFLY doesn't have a lot to make up on the former and she too had excuses when well beaten by MAGIC MAVERICK who came back to form. Both need to be respected. SANBEENEE ran a cracker when coming from the clouds on the poly. She could much improve on her previous turf efforts. CALL ME HARRIET and UMZOLOZOLO are also in with chances in a competitive fillies-and-mares maiden event.
