On termine par la première épreuve du handicap divisé principal, disputé sur 1.900 mètres et qui sera support du très spéculatif Ze5 de Zeturf.
Nous retrouvons Rey Pelayo dont la maison revient en forme, et qui lui-même nous a bien plu en dernier lieu à Cagnes où il a mis un joli coup de rein pour finir dans les cent derniers mètres. Stéphane Pasquier lui renouvelle sa confiance, et dès lors nous aussi.
Il sera notre favori aux dépens de Brazing qui fut malheureux lors de sa plus récente sortie et cherche sa course avec application, et constituera une base très logique devant Carter and Go, qui porte moins de poids pour ce bon engagement et doit être repris en confiance, ainsi que Katdar, en super forme et qui va apprécier la distance plus longue qu’en dernier lieu.
Petit outsider très séduisant ensuite avec Calaconta qui a nettement mieux couru que ne l’indique son classement pour sa grande rentrée, étant bloquée à la corde avec des ressources, et elle sera retenue en bon rang pour les places avec Engelburg qui a peu de marge mais a sa chance après avoir repris de la fraîcheur, Ronaldo, à voir dans cette catégorie mais qui est appliqué dans l’ensemble, et Peaceful City, peut-être meilleur sur gazon mais dont la rentrée lyonnaise est meilleure qu’il n’y paraît.
