Essayons le visiteur Stone Age, supplémenté par Aidan O'Brien après une deuxième place dans un Groupe II à Leopardstown, et Ebro River, qui reste sur deux bonnes prestations au niveau Groupe I au Curragh. Nous leur opposerons en priorité le "Fabre" Ancient Rome, qui vient d'enlever le Prix des Chênes (Groupe III) sur le mile de ParisLongchamp mais a hérité d'un numéro piège dans les stalles de départ et ne sera pas avantagé par les pluies du week-end, et Angel Bleu, qui reste sur sa victoire du mois de juillet à Goodwood dans un Groupe II. La bonne surprise pourrait venir de l'invaincue Accakaba, lauréate du Prix du Calvados (Groupe II), qui défie les mâles sans complexe.
